A Greener Cheverly

With two toddlers in the house, it seems like more often than not mealtime ends with two plates of half-eaten food still on the table.  Then the leftovers go into the fridge and sit there, and invariably they eventually wind up in the trash.  But the good news is that it doesn't have to, because Cheverly Public Works is proposing a curbside composting pilot program. For a $20 investment for a special receptacle, you can have your biodegradable kitchen waste picked up every Monday and divert it from the landfill.
