If you can, please make a plan to come to the County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro at 7pm on Nov.6.
The council reviewed a proposal I put forward to make our parks and public spaces smoke free. Stay tuned for more information, and please send me your thoughts on this. Additionally, I will be putting forward a budget adjustment to add a new swing for kids of all abilities. Finally, we will be redesigning the Woodworth park to be universally accessible so that there will be a place for kids of all abilities to play together.

The ordinance is being introduced to codify best practices that our police shall not enforce federal immigration law. The ordinance will be up for public comment at the Nov 9,Dec 14 & Jan 11 Town Meetings. Please come to the meetings to share your opinion on this proposed law.

The proposed train is now going to be under ground until it gets past the beltway. Even so, we need to keep an eye out on what is going on.
