Hello Ward 6! We have some fun news today in our newsletter. First up, residents along Joslyn please note that a few new homes may be coming to the remaining wooded area. I will provide more updates as I get them.
Boom! Update 4/26 6:30pm @Town Hall
The University of Maryland's (UMD) Geology Department has completed it's research regarding the Cheverly Booms. On April 26th 6:30PM the UMD team will present their information in a meeting at Town Hall.
We hope that many Cheverly residents will attend this meeting to support the work that the University of Maryland has performed. At this meeting we also hope to have local business owner Joseph Smith in attendance to provide an update to the community on changes he is making to his operations.
This information will be very useful to have at the meeting.
Team Cheverly is replacing C-PACT as Cheverly’s Neighborhood Watch Organization and policing platform from 2018 into the future. C-PACT has done a wonderful job for the Cheverly community and many of its successful programs will continue. However, Team Cheverly more aptly describes the partnership that the Cheverly Police would like to maintain with our residents. As you already know, cheverlypolice.org will be the main portal by which the police can share information, provide lookouts and update crime issues, and share our services with the community. How you reach the portal is decided by which political ward you reside in.Ward 6 is Team6@cheve

Do you have feral cats on your street? We are in the process of identifying the locations of feral cats in town so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the location of the cats near you. Thanks!
Spring is right around the corner which means we will be launching our first ever storywalk! The first storywalk will be in Boyd Park and would like to highlight the history of Old Fourth Ward. Do you have a story about someone/something you would like to be included? If so, please send to me at email@example.com
